Step by Step – Full CA License

So for a few reasons my hand was finally forced and I found myself visiting the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) here in California over 5 times in one week, if you know or have heard the legend of the DMV, that is a ridiculous amount of time to be there in just 7-days. Anyway to cut a long story short I wanted to change from a full Australian license (Car/Motorcycle) to a full Californian (Car/Motorcycle)

This entailed;

• Multiple Lines (I lined up at least 8 times on different occassions)

• 2 x Written Tests

• Over 12hrs in total at the DMV

• 1 x Driving Test

• 1 x Motorcycle Riding Skills Test

Everything was fun and perhaps at times challenging, the motorcycle skills test was probably the most daunting as legend has it no one passes but at the end of the day I didn’t want to do a full-day riding course which is the only other way to get your m/c license.

I now have a full CA, USA Driving/Motorcycle License.

Stepping Up

Lots happening as always but more to the point almost 12-months in I’m feeling pretty settled in LA, great gigs, releases and opportunities on the horizon, 2012 is stepping up!

I Like Learning

Have made some huge ‘mixing’ advancements this week and learned some new tricks, love learning new stuff, I hope it never stops. Finished up a remix this week as ‘AXXONN’, hopefully the last one for a while, I must have done nearly an albums worth of remixes in the past 6-months for artists all over the globe.

Next thing out of the TH camp, an AXXONN single…..yeeeeha!
