I’m happy to report that my OPEN FRAME a/v performance Floats went off without a hitch. The night ended up selling out twice with the first 100 tickets selling, then an additional 20 being released which also sold out.

Floats is aural/visual performance dealing with ones cognitive desire to place ones self somewhere in relation to the World. Floating at times, life can almost feel out of ones control, much like floating along a road or in the interconnected water that makes up the oceans of the World. Floats is an investigation into creating a visceral experience for the audience to represent my vision in these analogies and interests.

Here’s an animation from my birthday dinner. It’s a couple of hours crammed into 5 minutes. I made the sound using my new noise device that you can also see a video about in a few posts before.

Last gig in Sydney went well at SEDITION ‘a barber shop come, music venue, come art gallery’. Played with the guys of ORARA at the end which included;
