Into the new year, well it feels like it anyway as my Christmas break, bar New Years Day, is over. I returned from Cairns this morning on the 6am red eye and just spent the day unpacking and preparing for January. Throughout January I will be fine tuning the curriculum I will be presenting, teaching and helping other artists with during my residency at The Perth International Arts Festival. I also have a number of live performances booked whilst in Perth along with a late January album release.

Ho ho ho!! and Merry Christmas. Well it’s that time of year again, but this time I REALLY can’t believe where the year has gone. I’m particularly looking forward to this Christmas as it mean a nice little break doing absolutely nothing before the onslaught of business in the new, don’t get me wrong I’m very excited about next year but a few days sleeping and joining in the festivities should get me refreshed to take on 2008.

Recently I’ve been working on a few left field projects. 1 was live VJ’ing for World DMC champion DJ Dexter and the other has been with some very musically talented friends, Imber Lingard and Megan Loeffler. Being a fond enthusiast of processing sound live I was very delighted when Imber allowed me to process her vocals. So as to not destroy them completely I took 2 feeds from her, leaving 1 virtually un-touched and processing the other live.

I’m very impressed with the results.

Another very big weekend over.

Saturday night I VJ’ed for DJ Dexter. A great experience and a different venue to what I’m used to working in pushing me to come up with some new and varied material.
