Over the past 12 days I’ve watched something like 34 bands… I’m a little bit sonic’ed out to say the least.

Just got home from the ‘Big Day Out’ so so so tired….

Was side of stage for Fantomas and for Neil Young…. nothing like standing up there with a performers view.

Where have the first 11 days of the new year gone?

Here I was thinking I updated the blog last week but, No, I haven’t updated it since last year….a little indication of how busy thing are going.

Things happening in the next month:
• Just finished 3 days of awesome recording at THE OLD BRISBANE MUSEUM with SECRET BIRDS, which was an amazing experience.
• AXXONN have been busy working on new tracks for the upcoming album (recording late March) and have been securing shows at venues Ric’s (Jan. 29th) w/ Loomer and The Hanger (March 14t).
• Shows w/ Secret Birds coming up @ Overambition #1, The Step Inn (Jan 22nd) and The Zoo (Jan 24th).
• SONIC BOOM #2 is happening at my place (msg for details) a regular experimental sound series, with #2 featuring MYSTIC EYES Perth’s Queen of Drone.
• February 5th I head to Perth for a residency at THE PERTH INTERNATIONAL ARTS FESTIVAL.

•In other news I’m working on a second solo, following some new discoveries made in processing during the making of my solo album for BASKARU.
