A beautiful day, in a beautiful place with a beautiful girl!
For those of you that don’t know, Devonport (Tasmania) is the region I grew up until I headed off to university as a young 20yr old. I’m currently down in Tasmania, back in Devonport completing a series of information/workshop session school visits and a couple of public performances, it feels good and i’m more than impressed with the local reaction to what it is I do, ‘sound art’.
Today with students from Reece and Devonport highschools I completed:
• A sound walk.
• Impromptu Performance.
• Brief Intro to Working with Sound and Image in a live context.
I’m down in Tasmania and have been doing a series of school visits (primary, high and college) speaking about using Sound & Video as artistic mediums. All the visits have been fun and quite rewarding. Things are really shaping up nicely for my ‘debut’ solo performance in Devonport (my home town) on Friday evening with a range of media interest and great support from the local Devonport Regional Gallery.
The weather is quite cold (in comparison to Brisbane) but the place is just so beautiful and VERY seasonal.
this thing is small but packs a punch like a Mack Truck!
A few school visits today (Ulverstone Primary and High School) on the north-west coast of Tasmania.
A brief overview of experimental sound and image including a performance resulted in many excited students ;)

**looks like I’m giving a boot camp ;)
Alice Spring was absolutely amazing, it was with great pleasure that I completed two performances to the lovely people of Alice Springs. A big THANKS! to Karlee from WATCH THIS SPACE who looked after me, showing me around and even cooking me a fantastic dinner.

But Alice Springs is AWESOME – I’m in the ‘heart’ of Australia
This is the art space I’m at for the next few days.
